TLC Newfoundlands was established in 1984, renamed in 1994, and we are very pleased to have moved to our new location, a historical home outside of Washington Courthouse, OH. We are about one hour from Cincinnati, Dayton, or Columbus, and are easily accessible from Interstates 70 and 71. We are pleased to announce the completion of our new whelping facility, complete with separate areas for each mother dog, a climate controlled environment, covered outdoor patios for each family, and a grooming section. We are also excited to add the help of a daily assistant. Being professional educators, we have the occasional time when we cannot be available to our dogs. But this also means that we do not breed dogs for a living, so we do not feel the need to charge the exorbitant prices asked by some. Our dogs are PennHIP or OFA screened prior to breeding, and are also OFA heart certified and cystinuria tested.
Our Newfoundlands come with a two year written health guarantee, and are vet checked and vet vaccinated at 5-6 weeks. We maintain a waiting list at all times, and contact prospective buyers when puppies become available. While we do not ask for large deposits on unborn puppies and then make a buyer wait for months or years, a small deposit will ensure that you get your puppy before those only on a call list. Puppies are not "picked" until after the initial vet exam, to ensure that all puppies are healthy. We do offer shipping, and do not charge any fees beyond the cost of the crate and the actual cost required by the airline.We welcome questions, emails, and phone calls even after the puppies are sold, and post all pictures mailed to us on our refrigerator for all to see! We also offer stud service to approved bitches, boarding to dogs born here, and occasionally have rescue dogs available. While we believe that the Newf is the most wonderful dog in the world, it is not the dog for everyone. Please contact us with any questions you may have. We love to talk about our dogs!
